Jennifer Childress

Jennifer began her professional career as a photographer for a local newspaper where she developed her photojournalistic style. She also used her skills to help pay for college by offering wedding and portrait photography. She spent six years as an architecture and interior design photographer for a major Philadelphia based firm. During those six years, she continued to develop her skills as a wedding photographer. She found wedding photography so rewarding as a creative outlet, she finally decided to dedicate herself to it full time in 2002.

In addition to her talents as a photographer, Jennifer has a core set of business ethics that keep her clients, their friends, and their families coming back. She continues to make customer satisfaction her top priority.

Jennifer also specializes in Family, Infant, Pregnancy, and Boudoir photography.

Many of you may not know that my best friend David is getting married in December. It has been so exciting helping Jess plan out the day and of course I will be their photographer (part time) reception will be photographed by the awesome duo of Pete Malone and Joy Moody. Today I received my invite (a little early) and it is AMAZING! I need to give a huge shout out the TJ Proud of Paper by Proud. The invite is stunning and it got me very excited for the big day! Jess also hired Erin Proud of Proud to Plan for Day of Coordination. Erin performs such invaluable service! I highly recommend her for any kind of wedding coordination. She makes your day seamless and worry free!

Dave and I have known each other since we were in our single digits. He is such a great guy, so greatI asked him to be my daughter Mya’s godfather. Which is something he does wonderfully. He loves Mya so much and spends a lot of time with her. Mya loves her “Unk Gee ” which is how she pronounced Uncle Dave at 3 years old and it just stuck. He will always be Unk Gee to her. Mya is one of the flower girls in the wedding, so that should be interesting as she is walking down the isle and I am at the other end shooting it!
