Just this past weekend I shot a wedding in Happy Valley for two Penn State alumni, Megan and Brendan. Penn State was the perfect choice as a location for this couple’s big day as it seemed like most of their guests hailed from the university at one time or another as well.
I first worked with the couple last fall for their engagement session. I immediately liked the pair (Megan is such a sweet lady!) and have been looking forward to their wedding ever since. I also wanted to point out that Megan and Brendan’s wedding party was the largest I have ever worked with — 22 adults and 10 kids (the couple included all of their nieces in the wedding) plus the bride and groom. Luckily, a nice large set of steps around the side of Old Main was big enough to accommodate the group (the adult portion, anyway).
The wedding ceremony was held at the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center right on campus, with a reception following nearby at the Nittany Lion Inn. Birdhouse Productions captured the day on video, Avant Garden was the florist, and Signature DJ’s kept the party going with great music.
