Mary and Gurney were married on a recent Sunday this October. This paticular Sundat was supposed to be a lot wetter than it was. I watched the weather forecast all weekend and it was not looking good! To our surprised the rain held off but it was still pretty chilly for an outside wedding. However, Mary and Gurney being the unique spirits they are had a lovely service with enough love and happiness to warm every one’s hearts on that chilly afternoon. I felt a great connection with this couple and we had so much fun traveling around the arboretum getting the amazing images you see below. M&G thank you so much for choosing me to document your amazing day.
I love working at the Morris Arboretum! There are a lot of reason for this, I will share with you my top two.
Reason 1: The grounds there are by far the best for wedding photography. See below if you don’t believe me!
Reason 2: I know when I am working the Morris Arboretum, I am working with the BEST catering company in the Philly area! I am talking about Company’s Coming of course. Josh’s food is so yummy. I look forward to these wedding for months knowing Josh is cooking me dinner! At arboretum weddings, I am always surrounded by familiar faces. I enjoyed working with Steve from Classic Entertainment we always have a blast working together. I also want to give a shout out to Knight Kitchen Bakery whose cakes are probably the best I have ever tasted! (that says something, because I have tasted a lot of wedding cake.) Yet another reason I look forward to Arboretum weddings.
