Today I caught a glimpse of the mommy bird feeding her very large babies in our bird box off our patio. I couldn’t resist grabbing my camera. I spent a good two hours out there (it gets so addicting) trying to grab the best pic. This was all too precious. The mommy was so cautious and really did not like me standing so close but she did get used to me after a while. So this is my dedication to the summer of 09′, enjoy!

Pennsbury High School Prom Featuring Ryan Cabrera! – 5.16.09

I have never photographed a prom before but I was happy to help when my good buddy Jason Weldon called me from Synergetic Sounds and Lighting and asked me to come out and photograph his lighting set up for Pennsbury High School’s Prom. Synergetic’s set up included everything from huge projection screens suspended from the ceiling with live streaming video fed to them to a awesome laser light show. Some very high tech stuff!

It was pretty cool how the kids of Pennsbury High School transformed their school into an fantasy world of art! Every square inch of the walls was covered with some kind of painting, foam, or artwork of some kind. It was awesome! I can’t imagine how much work went into this night! From what I hear, Pennsbury H.S. is known for their prom events. From the craziest entrances you can think of, to their star performance’s. A few years back John Mayer stopped by to perform a few songs and this year they had Ryan Cabrera preform. Man I wish my prom could have been this cool!

St. Patty’s Day Road Trip!

On Wednesday me and five other Phabulous Philly Photogs (Joy Moody, Ryan Estes, Sofia Negron, Pete Malone, and Jeff Horowitz) took a road trip to Long Island, NY to check out the Leather Craftsmen facility. They are an amazing album vendor and they really give new mean to the phrase “hand crafted“. Each and every album is truly hand made right here in the USA (Which says something in this day and age!) It was awesome to get this perspective first hand.

Of course we stopped to celebrate St. Patricks Day! We had so much fun, as always!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to meet up with Joy Moody and Pete Malone for this very unique photo session. When it comes to Pete, I think everyone knows anything is possible. So on our first adventure out since my knee debacle we thought we would take it short and slow. Pete recently got an old fashioned straight shave with his dad and ended up with a pencil thin stash. Somehow that translated to this outfit??? Mya came along to help make “Pete smile” she is well on her way to being a pro like her Mama.
