Jennifer Childress

Jennifer began her professional career as a photographer for a local newspaper where she developed her photojournalistic style. She also used her skills to help pay for college by offering wedding and portrait photography. She spent six years as an architecture and interior design photographer for a major Philadelphia based firm. During those six years, she continued to develop her skills as a wedding photographer. She found wedding photography so rewarding as a creative outlet, she finally decided to dedicate herself to it full time in 2002.

In addition to her talents as a photographer, Jennifer has a core set of business ethics that keep her clients, their friends, and their families coming back. She continues to make customer satisfaction her top priority.

Jennifer also specializes in Family, Infant, Pregnancy, and Boudoir photography.

Becky & Jim – Tavistock Country Club

Having photographed so many weddings, it’s always great to be clued in on details that make the day uniquely special to each couple. The wedding I photographed for Becky and Jim on April 17 was no exception. The couple tied the knot at a charming, rustic log church — Cathedral of the Woods — in Medford Lakes, New Jersey. What made this choice of venue a particularly special one for the couple and their family was that the bride’s parents were married in that very same church 35 years ago!

While the day was an uncharacteristically chilly one for mid-April, the newly budding spring foliage complemented the bride’s rose bouquet and provided an elegant backdrop for some beautiful portraits of the wedding party. The event concluded with a lively reception at the Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield. Bigg Romeo, a Philadelphia-based band, kept the party moving all night!
