Jennifer Childress

Jennifer began her professional career as a photographer for a local newspaper where she developed her photojournalistic style. She also used her skills to help pay for college by offering wedding and portrait photography. She spent six years as an architecture and interior design photographer for a major Philadelphia based firm. During those six years, she continued to develop her skills as a wedding photographer. She found wedding photography so rewarding as a creative outlet, she finally decided to dedicate herself to it full time in 2002.

In addition to her talents as a photographer, Jennifer has a core set of business ethics that keep her clients, their friends, and their families coming back. She continues to make customer satisfaction her top priority.

Jennifer also specializes in Family, Infant, Pregnancy, and Boudoir photography.

After shooting Cailin’s brothers wedding we were so excited when Cailin and Matt contacted us to do their wedding. They had a rough start to the wedding planning when the original venue they chose ended up closing its doors, and they were left with the task of finding a new venue to hold the wedding. We were more than happy to make some suggestions of eclectic venues for them. Arts Ballroom was the first choice on our list. The sweeping staircase and the pillars are the first thing that captures your eye when you walk in the room. We were delighted when they told us they chose this venue.

Having worked there in the past we knew we were in good had with Steven Star Events. Jennifer from Star was absolutely amazing to work with!

Again it is always so great to work with amazing families. Thank you for having us back!

Since the actual wedding day was brutally hot we decided to hold off taking all the portraits for a cooler day. I love how Cailin wore her hair down for a different look. She looked stunning!
