Depending on how superstitious you are, Matt and Allison may have picked a bad day to chance getting married – Friday the 13th. But it turned out to be a lucky day for them, as everything went off without a hitch! Despite rain on and off throughout the day (I have a hard time recalling ANY sunny days this fall), we managed to spend sometime outside getting amazing shots of the happy couple during a break in the drizzle. Also, with the rain came a great veil-lifting wind, so we caught some of that action as well!
The ceremony took place right in my backyard, at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer in North Wales, with a reception to follow in the lovely Silos Ballroom at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell. My great friend, Leslie of Whimsical Welcomes helped brighten up the gray day with bright, jewel toned arrangements that included roses, deep purple Moonshade carnations, and miniature sunflowers.
Synergetic Sounds and Lighting set the mood in the ballroom with amber up-lighting which looked spectacular! DJ Mark rocked the party all night long!
Last but certainly not least, my good friend Pete Malone came along to second shoot for me. A few of his awesome photos are sprinkled through this post. Thanks Pete!

Cool side note, each of the groomsmen wore handmade cufflinks from Esty. The groom was clearly a Batman fan!

I love this first meet series of images. I love that anticipation.

Love the above image taken by Pete! Awesome job!

I love how Leslie designed different arrangements for the tables. Center pieces don’t always has to be the same. She does AMAZING work!

I love the uplighting done here by Synergetic Sounds and Lighting. Completely changes the entire feel of the room and the images! Lighting is so important, definitely look into lighting options at your venue. It is a great return for such a small investment.
